Why do I see scrambled characters in the mobile ads?
If you're seeing garbled characters, then it's most likely that the encoding of your ads doesn't match the encoding of your page. To fix this, follow these steps:
Sign in to your account at http://www.google.com/adsense.
Select the AdSense Setup tab.
Choose AdSense for mobile as the product.
Follow the steps in the wizard as normal, making sure to explicitly specify the character encoding (e.g. UTF-8, Shift_JIS) you want the ads to be in.
Once the new ad code is generated, copy and paste the code into your mobile webpage.
After you've saved and published your page, you should be able to verify that the ads are now displayed correctly.
